The
Bartender
And
you came to me.
With desperation in your eyes,
So I played for time.
Teasing,
Until pleasing you with what you wanted.
And with each and every time that you returned,
You gazed upon me as an angel.
And each time I appeared with more glory than the last.
As if sent from god.
To soothe your troubles away,
To listen to your sins and offer forgiveness.
But you are mistaken.
And your glazed eyes only see what you want to see.
For
I am all that is evil,
The devil with angel wings.
And I'll freely serve you the poison which you so desire
